Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced IT Field Consultant to become part of our team! You will provide clients with the technical expertise relevant to networking, mobility, virtualization, and cloud-based solutions.Responsibilities:Providing IT consulting, network administration, field, and remote technical support.Deployment of O365 and Sharepoint projects.Keeping the clients technical environments up-to-date with industry standards to ensure optimal network performance.Evaluating, recommending and executing new technologies.Being an escalation point for issues and requests that cannot be serviced by the Tier 1 team to reduce future escalationSuccessfully executing project tasks including the planning and delivery of activities to support on-time and on-budget completion.Periodically constructing and facilitating training with other groups within the company in support of increasing capabilities, efficiencies, and effectiveness.Fostering business relationships with assigned clients, ensuring client satisfactionDemonstrated Technical Qualifications:Advanced skills with Microsoft Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory theory and design.Proficient skills with Microsoft Exchange Server, including design best practices and troubleshooting.Proficient skills in Microsoft SharePoint, including design best practices and troubleshooting.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365.Strong hands-on network, firewall, routing, switching configuration, and virtualization experience.VLAN and Citrix Presentation Server experience is a plus.Strong skills in planning and execution of projects.In addition, the successful candidate will be able to:Develop strong relationships with clients, manage their expectations and meet SLA s.Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Demonstrate excellent follow-up skills and maintain detailed documentation.Work effectively and independently.Follow and produce written step-by-step procedures for unfamiliar technologies.Define problems, analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and develop appropriate resolutions.Demonstrate effective listening skills.Prioritize appropriately and multi-task effectively.Education and/ or Experience/CertificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or 5 + years experience in a managed service environmentCertifications a plusExperience utilizing call management and trouble ticketing systems Company DescriptionLeading IT Consulting, Managed Services, and Cloud Computing company has exciting opportunities for experienced IT individuals to join our Quincy, MA-based team.
